Gleddoch House wedding went well too - beautiful day started off by lovely words for the ceremony

Hi Susan,

We just wanted to thank you again for marrying us a few weeks ago at Gleddoch House.  I really do think it was the most beautiful ceremony I have ever been to and everyone has commented on how lovely it was.  The tone you set was just perfect!!

Thank you so much,

GrannyB sent me a lovely message

Great big thanks

Hi Susan

I just want to thank you for the wonderful ceremony you gave for my son Jason and his wife Lydia.7 July @ Holmwood House.  We also loved the naming ceremony for Laurel & Josie.  Who will ever forget Josie's antic with the ribbons. I loved the way you dealt with the interruption. It made us all laugh and relax.

I know you were very busy that day and had to  leave but I was sorry not to have the chance to thank you and give you a gret big hug.  Consider yourself hugged.

Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Another great big hug from GrannyB

I replied saying:

Margaret thank you so much for your lovely words brought a wee tear to my eye. I love doing this work as it seems to help make happy moments for so many.
best wishes
Susan

Lovely words from a wedding in Largs @ Brisbane Hotel

We chose Susan Douglas-Scott as our Humanist Celebrant for our wedding in May this year.
We met her prior to our wedding to discuss what we wanted for our ceremony and she was very helpful with ideas and advice on what to go for.
Our ceremony was exactly what we wished for! Personal, relaxed and humorous. And our guests all commented on how lovely it was.
I'm so glad we went for a humanist ceremony and happy that Susan was part of our special day.

With this ring.........

This is me holding Eric's ring and sharing the words Jennifer asked for - see the emotion on her face as she listens.  I have loads of rings words for you to choose from to make your ceremony just feel right for you.  I should have said here with this very shiny ring!

At Ingliston with Lisa and Derek who wanted their ceremony to have a few laughs in it...............!

How's this for an idyllic setting for a wedding?

Central Hotel Glasgow with four lovely people!

I married Jade and Sam in May at St Andrews on the Square and their best pals Linsey and Russell in the Central Hotel Glasgow in June!  Linsay and Russell had been best man and bridesmaid at Jade and Sam's wedding.  Jade laughed all the way through both!!!

Linsay sent me this photo and message:

I just wanted to send you a wee note to thank you for helping make our wedding day so fantastic! The ceremony was just perfect and was everything we had hoped for and then some!

Our friends and family have all commented on how relaxed and personal the day was and how you helped to create a warm and friendly atmosphere and, for that, i can't thank you enough. Even my wee gran - the die hard church goer!! - was impressed with the ceremony and how meaningful it was.

Hopefully the photo of us with Sam and Jade is attached - please feel free to use it on your blog or otherwise.

Thank you again!

With love and best wishes,

Linsey x
